Asset Recovery Associate- Monday-Friday

Job Description The Associate in Asset Recovery is responsible for assisting in the recovery and disposition of assets, such as equipment, vehicles, and property, that have been repossessed or seized. They work closely with legal teams, financial institutions, and law enforcement agencies to ensure proper documentation and compliance with laws and regulations. The Associate may conduct investigations, locate and secure assets, coordinate auctions or sales, and manage the logistics of asset recovery operations. They may also assist in negotiating settlements and resolving any disputes related to the recovery process. Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills are essential for success in this role. Duties and Responsibilities Receive and stage incoming product Verify accuracy of various receiving/shipping documents Properly evaluate product & sort into corresponding categories (As-Is, Liquidator, Scrap) Ability to test/evaluate various product Must be able to work in a team environment to complete daily tasks and goals Safely work with and around forklifts Achieve productivity levels in line with department goals Accurately & timely data collection and entry (paper and/or electronic) Operate material handling equipment as needed Adherence to all company policies including safety rules Additional duties as assigned by manager Regular attendance is a required Scope Staff supervision and development: No Decision making: None Travel: Up to 5% Flex Designation: DC Based The anticipated rate for this position is $19.00 per hour depending on location, knowledge, skills, education and experience. Eligible Associates are able to enroll in our company's 401k plan. Associates will accrue paid time off up to 152 hours per year (inclusive of PTO, floating holidays, and paid holidays).
