Utilize a holiday detector to check for pinholes or discontinuities in the coating. Documentation and reporting: Record all inspection results, test data, and findings in daily logs, reports, and digital tracking systems. Issue non-conformance reports (NCRs) for any parts or processes that do not meet quality standards. Prepare detailed final inspection packages for client approval. Problem-solving and collaboration: Communicate with production operators, supervisors, and managers to address quality deficiencies and implement corrective actions. Participate in root cause analysis to identify and resolve sources of quality defects. Assist in the calibration and maintenance of all inspection equipment. Qualifications High school diploma or GED required. Proven experience as a paint inspector in a manufacturing environment, preferably in metal fabrication or industrial coatings.
