Physical Requirements: Must be able to lift/carry up to 100 pounds, push/pull up to 100 pounds, grasp, squeeze, bend, stoop, twist, crouch, squat, kneel, crawl, reach, repetitive arm/wrist/hand use, walk on uneven surfaces, stand, walk in order to ensure the safety of patients and staff. Essential Functions:Role model expectations related to customer service and demonstrates a sense of urgency related to the importance of patient safety. Oversee a unit or work group for a specified shift. Provide for the basic comfort of patients, implement nursing interventions identified in the plan of care that is individualized to their needs. Coordinate services and maintain communication with other departments or staff as required. Communicate therapeutically and professionally with patient, visitors, case managers, coworkers and others in an effective manner. Complete and maintain required documentation. OTHER FUNCTIONS:Perform other functions and tasks as assigned. EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/SKILL REQUIREMENTS:Graduation from an accredited school of nursing required. One or more years of nursing experience. LICENSES/CERTIFICATIONSCurrent LPN/LVN license as required by state. CPR and de-escalation/restraint certification required (training available upon hire and offered by facility).
