Job Summary The Driver is responsible for pulling material, loading, securing, verifying their loads and delivering to our local customers in a flatbed truck. Job FunctionSets up and operates delivery trucks for local deliveries. Class A CDL or Class B CDL license preferred but not required. Reads Bill of Ladings. May be required to package material for shipment. Loads truck for local deliveries. Daily inspections of trucks in accordance with DOT regulations. Forklift Operation. Load inspection for verification of orders being delivered. Delivery of product to customer locations. Interaction with our customers. Represent Service Steel Aerospace in professional manner. Fuel trucks and adhere to maintenance schedules of vehicles. May be required to work OT but not to exceed 12 hours in one shift. Follow all JSA's attached with position Follow all Safety Procedures Required SkillsClean Driving record for the last 3 years minimum Ability to quickly learn multiple functions in a complex industry. Must be able to work in a team environment. Knowledge of operating industrial equipment. Ability to communicate well with others. Good mathematical skills including measurements. Ability to use and read measuring equipment such as calipers and measuring tapes. Ability to be able to operate a crane. Ability to be able to operate a forklift. Self-motivated and can act on own initiative. Experienced working to targets and deadlines. Adaptable and have a positive attitude towards change. Motivated, communicative and goal oriented. Ability to stand for extended periods of time. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds repetitively. Compensation Range The anticipated compensation for this position is USD $23.00/Hr. - USD $36.00/Hr. depending on experience, qualifications, and location.
