Job Description This position is for the Technical Assistant/Deputy to the LM Missiles and Fire Control (MFC) Special Operations Forces Global Logistics Support Services (SOF GLSS) Program Vice President. This position is responsible for supporting and leading elements of Program Performance and Culture Optimization across the SOF GLSS enterprise. This position will require the individual to work on-site at Blue Grass Station, in Lexington, KY. What You Will Be Doing Success in this role will require exceptional execution of the following responsibilities: 1) Providing enterprise-level Risk and Opportunity (R&O) management oversight for R&O identification, mitigation strategies, and reporting to senior management. 2) Coordination of various customer-driven, line of business, and business area program reviews and briefings, to include the solicitation, collection, and consolidation of material for presentation. Ensure timely, accurate, clear and concise reporting, including cost and schedule performance. 3) Coordination of program performance reviews and action plans to ensure effective program execution and cost/schedule performance. Establishment of metrics to verify program performance. 4) Coordination of SOF GLSS Senior Leaders Offsites, to include agenda development. 5) Manage the SOF GLSS Business Rhythm to ensure the smooth and efficient execution of day-to-day operations; deconfliction of numerous meetings, visits, and travel; and deadlines are met 6) Liaison between Mission Areas and Senior Management to ensure communication flow, facilitate awareness, and enhance program success. 7) Identify and track Mission Success Milestones for SOF GLSS contract. 8) Coordinate and lead all SOF GLSS Baseline Reviews, Independent Non-Advocate Reviews (INAR) and Program Assessment Reviews. 9) In concert with the Culture Optimization Team, innovate and drive culture optimization initiatives for the SOF GLSS program The position provides a significant amount of exposure to Sr. Leadership across the SOF GLSS Enterprise, with higher levels within the Corporation, and with customers. This position requires a high level of business acumen and a strong understanding of the Defense Industry. It will require the individual to develop a thorough understanding of program excellence in application to programs including technical program requirements, key personnel and interfaces, and SOF GLSS business processes and rhythms. The ideal candidate for this position will have several years of production-level program experience with a proven track record of reporting and developing action plans leading to increased efficiencies and program success. Basic Qualifications -Bachelor's degree in applicable field of study -Demonstrated Full Spectrum Leader competencies -Demonstrated program performance and program management experience -Knowledge of Risk and Opportunity Management process, and an understanding of the value-derived from an effective R/O program -Exceptional interpersonal communication and formal presentation skills; ability to interact with senior executives (both internal to LM and external customers) in development of long-term strategies -Experience working with a cross-functional team to solve complex problems/challenges, and meet program commitments -Demonstrated success in an environment that is fast paced, demanding, and requires independent thinking, problem resolution and action with minimal direct oversight by senior management -Strategic thinker and communicator -Ability to support program execution strategies based on long term objectives and analysis of alternative paths to achieve objectives; able to clearly articulate strategy and rational to program management, functional support personnel, and executive management. Desired skills -Working knowledge of PEO SOFSA/SOF GLSS stakeholders, missions, acquisition strategies, and opportunity space -Familiarity with USSOCOM organization (components) and mission sets -Familiarity with LM organization, particularly the Missiles and Fire Control (MFC) Business Area -5+ years demonstrated program performance and program management experience with IDIQ task orders through earned value management -Formalized Program Management training -Cost account management experience -Understanding of the SOFSA customers' requirements and become the "voice of the customer" to ensure customer values are firmly embedded in SOF GLSS programs -Familiarity with SOF GLSS program review structure, rhythms and content -Profit and Loss Management experience EEOLockheed Martin is an equal opportunity employer. Ability to work remotely Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process. Work Schedule Information Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits. National Pay StatementPay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California, Massachusetts, and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $128,400 - $226,435. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
