Internal IT Administrator Tier 1 - Grand Rapids MI

Applied Innovation is seeking an IT Administrator Tier 1 to join our internal IT team at our Corporate Office in Grand Rapids, MI. This role is responsible for providing first-line technical support to Applied Innovation employees (internal clients), ensuring an exceptional customer service experience with each interaction. Key Responsibilities: Serve as the first point of contact for IT support through calls, tickets, and walk-ins Listen effectively to understand the issue and determine its root cause Communicate solutions clearly and professionally, maintaining a positive, upbeat tone Resolve issues in person, via remote management tools, or through our ticketing system Escalate or route issues to the appropriate IT resources when necessary Provide timely follow-up to ensure issue resolution Stay current on new hardware and software technologies Flexibility to work evenings or weekends as projects demand Manage time effectively with guidance from leadership Qualifications: Associate degree (or higher) in Networking, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related technical field Working knowledge of Microsoft Office 365, Active Directory, and common operating systems Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Excellent customer service and communication skills A positive attitude and eagerness to learn Why Applied Innovation?
