Our Client, griculture Products company, is looking for a Process Planning Engineer for their Milan, IL location. Responsibilities: Carry out a range of activities under the guidance of more senior colleagues to support the analysis of information and the specification of the methods and process steps, as well as the plant, machinery, and equipment, required to design and continuously improve manufacturing or materials processes and process systems. Contribute to the development of, and implement feasibility testing of, proposed engineering solutions to provide feedback and data to validate the design. Carry out a range of activities under the guidance of more senior colleagues to support the drafting of engineering standards and specifications and the evaluation of the effectiveness of those standards. Carry out inspections under the supervision of senior colleagues to evaluate the quality of engineering works and/or the integrity of existing installations or structures, and make recommendations to senior colleagues on the remedial works needed to ensure conformance with specifications and regulatory requirements. Deliver required outcomes by coordinating activities of subcontractors and suppliers and acting as a primary point of contact for them while working within an established contract management plan. Identify shortcomings in existing processes, systems, and procedures, and use established change management programs to address them. Carry out a range of product development and engineering activities. Use established systems to analyze customer needs and define and deliver products. Develop own capabilities by participating in assessment and development planning activities as well as formal and informal training and coaching; gain or maintain external professional accreditation, where relevant, to improve performance and fulfill personal potential. Maintain an understanding of relevant technology, external regulation, and industry best practices through ongoing education, attending conferences, and reading specialist media. Support data collection and review of key data points for physical warehouse layouts Legacy warehouse operating system data verification Lead/support tactical optimization projects across multiple facilities to align with current and future operating system requirements Populate data sets for facility system readiness and conduct gap analysis Validate and construct accurate AutoCAD representations of warehouse layouts Assist team engineers in execution of reconfiguration projects and data projects to support US regional distribution centers Other duties as assigned Requirements: Experience with data analysis and data tools Experience with CAD Good time management/project mgt skills Warehouse experience Bachelor's Degree (Engineering, Math or Tech Field) with 1-3 year's experience, minimum.
