Description: Position is for a Perfusionist working days. Minimum 4 years of experience preferred. Candidates who have not worked in this role prior are accepted. Candidates will be expected to rotate on call for weekends approximately every fifth weekend with potential holiday coverage. State licensure and Basic Life Support certification are required. Candidates must be able to accommodate floating as needed. RTO restrictions ideally limit time off to no more than 5 days. The facility is an acute care hospital with 562 beds and is a Level I trauma center. Candidates should be comfortable with various procedures and equipment related to perfusion services, including but not limited to cardiac assist devices and cardiopulmonary bypass techniques. Candidates must have strong skills in patient monitoring, anticoagulation management, and temperature management. Charting is performed in a specified electronic system. All candidates must meet compliance needs and complete necessary onboarding requirements promptly.
