Role Responsibilities Conduct thorough evaluations for patients across age groups - pediatric, adult, and geriatric - through a combination of standardized assessments and keen observational skills. Craft individualized treatment plans that focus on immediate goals along with long-term communication, cognitive, and swallowing needs. Implement one-on-one speech therapy sessions addressing key areas such as communication, language development, fluency, voice, and swallowing. Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team that includes physical therapists, occupational therapists, healthcare providers, caregivers, and family members to deliver integrated care strategies. Provide educational resources to patients and families to support ongoing progress beyond in-clinic sessions. Participate in occasional inpatient therapy evaluations and interventions, ensuring seamless care throughout each patient's recovery journey. Keep detailed and prompt documentation in line with organizational, state, and federal guidelines. Qualifications A Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution. Completion of a Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) if not ASHA-certified. Licenses and Certifications Current state licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist. Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA is preferred. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is needed within the initial 30 days of employment.
