We are searching for a high-performing Account Representative to enhance our team's success. In this pivotal role, you will focus on achieving sales targets related to market reach, profit margin, and total revenue. WHAT YOU BRING: EXPERIENCE: At least 3 years of experience in selling engineered or industrial products is required. A Bachelor's degree in business or a technical field is highly preferred. SKILLS: A solid understanding of basic mechanical and electrical engineering principles. A strong initiative and the capability to work independently. Exceptional sales, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, along with proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM software like Oracle and Salesforce. CUSTOMER FOCUS: A passion for collaborative teamwork to support both internal stakeholders and customers. Willingness to travel overnight 50% of the time. YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Develop and implement strategies to identify potential customers, generate leads, and connect with key decision-makers. Travel to customer locations to engage with decision-makers and showcase our offerings, with an expectation of overnight travel. Assist customers in determining their needs, discussing available options, and making informed recommendations. Continuously monitor market trends and activities to spot new sales opportunities. Provide ongoing feedback regarding sales efforts, customer preferences, contractual terms, and competitive market dynamics. Create comprehensive reports that summarize industry activities and project market conditions and sales forecasts. Develop and deliver impactful presentations of our Electrical Product Group's offerings at trade shows, customer meetings, and other forums. Contribute to the formulation of marketing strategies and annual revenue forecasts.
