Your Responsibilities Perform thorough patient evaluations, order necessary diagnostic procedures, and create personalized care strategies. Diagnose and manage acute and chronic illnesses in tandem with physicians or autonomously, based on credentials. Guide patients and their families on preventative care, wellness strategies, and effective disease management. Prescribe and manage medications and treatments within your legal scope of practice. Engage in patient follow-ups and oversee chronic care initiatives. Work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams to deliver seamless, holistic care. Maintain accurate and complete documentation in electronic medical record systems. Qualifications Needed Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) degree. Graduation from an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Advanced Practice Nurse program. Licenses and Certifications Required Current Nurse Practitioner licensure in the state of Kansas. National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP or ANCC) or equivalent specialty certification. Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications or the ability to obtain them within 90 days of hire.
