Day to Day As a Junior Data Engineer, you will play a vital role in seamlessly integrating data from various sources into comprehensive data models. Your work will support data and analytics operations across our broader business functions. You will help improve our data lake model and develop efficient processes to manage and populate data. If you have hands-on experience in data processing and modeling in a big data environment, and have a knack for crafting trustworthy, reliable data pipelines, we want you on our team! Your contributions will provide valuable insights into the global job market and drive product innovation, making it easier for job seekers and employers to connect. Responsibilities Design and implement data pipelines (ETLs) to integrate various data sources into our Data Warehouse. Collaborate with diverse product and data teams to modify and create data models. Document and provide training for data warehouse users, ensuring that they can effectively leverage the data. Participate in on-call rotations to maintain critical data pipelines and ensure smooth operations. Skills/Competencies B.S. in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field. 1+ years of experience with big data and streaming technologies such as Snowflake, Redshift, Hive, Kafka, Spark, or comparable tools. Familiarity with workflow orchestration tools like Airflow is a plus. 2+ years of coding experience, particularly in Python or Scala. A strong enthusiasm for working with data and an eagerness to learn new technologies.
