Full-time associates in this role are also eligible for an annual bonus incentive. Temporary associates may join the company's 401(k) program but are not eligible for other benefits. Your Role: The Regional Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) will align business objectives with associates and management across communities within a designated region. This position serves as a consultant to management on HR-related matters, acting as a culture driver, associate champion, and change agent. You will assess and anticipate HR needs, communicating proactively with our Centers of Expertise (COE) and operational leadership to develop integrated solutions. Develop and implement HR policies aligned with organizational needs and compliance with state and federal laws. Provide guidance on HR policies, including hiring, compensation, performance management, and benefits. Manage complex associate relations issues, ensuring thorough and objective investigations. Oversee performance improvement plans, involuntary termination processes, and separation documentation. Advise on hiring decisions, equal employment opportunities, compensation, and health/safety issues. Maintain knowledge of legal requirements to minimize risk and ensure compliance. Conduct wage analysis to recommend adjustments based on local market data. Analyze HR trends and metrics to shape solutions and strategies. Collaborate with Talent Management COE for training implementation. Work with Associate Relations COE to address Integrity Line alerts properly. Assist in transitions during acquisitions and dispositions to ensure proper support for associates. Promote positive associate relations through surveys and meetings with operations leaders. Respond to union organizing efforts with training and strategies to mitigate risk. Partner with legal representatives for organizational legal proceedings as needed. Qualifications: Education and Experience: Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is required, along with a minimum of five years of experience in a Human Resources role or a comparable combination of education and experience. Certifications and Special Requirements: SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) or SHRM Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) credential is preferred. Management/Decision Making: Requires strong analytical skills and a profound understanding of the organization to address issues effectively. Knowledge and Skills: Indispensable knowledge of multiple HR disciplines, compensation practices, associate relations, performance management, and federal and state labor laws.
