We're searching for a proactive and organized individual to join our Global Engineering, Maintenance, & Sustainability - Design & Construction Quality Management team as a Program Manager. This role is crucial in shaping the processes within our Preconstruction and Construction Execution teams, drawing insights from various business units globally. The Program Manager will integrate Amazon's core values with lean management principles and Six Sigma methodologies to drive operational excellence. Responsibilities include benchmarking processes across the facility and infrastructure Pre-Construction and Construction lifecycle. Key Responsibilities: Employ industry-standard methodologies, including PMP and Lean Six Sigma, to engage teams and address customer challenges effectively. Enhance speed, quality, and simplicity by reducing rework, automating manual tasks, and standardizing processes. Inspire team members to achieve outstanding quality in a fast-paced, growth-focused setting. Analyze existing processes, identify improvement opportunities, and guide strategic enhancements. Lead both short-term process improvement initiatives and long-term process design efforts. Create and disseminate documentation of global best practices. Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders to identify high-priority pain points and benchmarking initiatives for improved processes and tools. About the Opportunity: This position involves travel up to 60% within assigned regions, and you'll also have the flexibility to work from a corporate office when not traveling. Candidates should ideally live near or be willing to relocate to a reasonable commuting distance from the office, with potential relocation assistance available. Basic Qualifications: 3+ years of program or project management experience 3+ years in defining and implementing process improvement initiatives using data and metrics Experience leveraging data and metrics to drive improvements Cross-functional experience collaborating with tech and non-tech teams Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, operations, supply chain, or transportation logistics Experience in facility and infrastructure construction management Preferred Qualifications: 3+ years of managing end-to-end delivery and reporting results to senior leadership 3+ years of experience driving process improvements Strong stakeholder management skills, engaging with diverse organizational levels Proven ability to build processes, manage projects, and create schedules PMP certification Master's degree Amazon is proud to be an equal opportunity employer. The base salary range for this position ranges based on location: USA, GA, Atlanta - 74,200.00 - 129,800.00 USD annually USA, MA, Boston - 74,200.00 - 129,800.00 USD annually USA, NY, New York - 81,600.00 - 142,800.00 USD annually USA, TN, Nashville - 66,800.00 - 116,800.00 USD annually USA, VA, Arlington - 74,200.00 - 129,800.00 USD annually
