Position Summary The Senior Project Manager and Estimator - Industrial Plumbing will take the lead on large-scale industrial plumbing projects from inception through to completion, while also managing the estimating processes necessary for successful project acquisition. This role involves strategic planning, design, budgeting, scheduling, and execution, ensuring that all activities align with our quality, safety, and financial targets. This position is based in Charlotte, NC. Key Responsibilities Lead all aspects of industrial plumbing projects, including installations, retrofits, and upgrades. Develop, track, and adjust project timelines, budgets, and resources, proactively addressing potential risks. Manage subcontractors, uphold quality standards, and ensure rigorous compliance with safety regulations. Act as the main point of contact for clients, effectively communicating and managing changes in scope. Analyze project drawings and specifications to create accurate estimates and compelling bid proposals. Gather vendor pricing, conduct take-offs, and ensure smooth submission of bids. Mentor and develop project staff, fostering a culture of teamwork and responsibility. Work closely with business development on bids and cultivate client relationships to drive growth. Requirements Qualifications A Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field is preferred; equivalent experience is also acceptable. 7-10 years of experience in industrial plumbing project management. Proven track record of completing large-scale projects on time and within budget. PMP certification or Master Plumber License is preferred. Strong technical knowledge of plumbing systems, estimating software, and construction management tools. Exceptional leadership, communication, and problem-solving abilities. Willingness to work on-site, which may include standing, walking, and climbing ladders. Ability to travel frequently to job sites and adapt to project deadlines.
