Overview & Responsibilities Are you a current Junior or Senior in college seeking an exciting internship opportunity in the Finance or Business field? Look no further! Republic Finance is on the lookout for enthusiastic Interns for our Branch Operations program! As a Branch Operations Intern, you will gain invaluable insights into the daily functions of a branch and learn about the broader organization, exploring various career paths we offer. You will collaborate with team members and leaders to gain real-world experience by working closely with our team, which will help you understand many aspects of branch operations and our business approach, including customer service excellence, compliance training, loan closing processes, leadership training, and engaging in continuous improvement projects. We offer our Branch Operations Interns an hourly pay of $15.00 with the intention of providing full-time employment upon successful program completion and graduation! As a Branch Operations Intern, you will have the opportunity to: Become licensed and participate in an accelerated version of the Assistant Branch Manager Program to learn about loan processes and necessary regulatory training. Assist in the daily production of loan origination, processing, closings, and funding, including file allocation for document preparation, auditing closed files, and preparing files ready to fund. Work alongside your Manager and Regional Vice President to understand their responsibilities and promotional pathways within the company. Attend regional meetings and/or workshops (as opportunities arise) to gain exposure to the larger Branch Operations division. Engage in one or more Branch Operations process improvement projects. Learn about various corporate roles where a background in Branch Operations is highly valued (e.g., Audit, Compliance, Training, Recruiting, etc.). During the internship, you'll receive an overview of our benefits as well. Requirements Must be a Junior or Senior majoring in Business, Finance, or a related field. Ideal candidates will be eager to learn, enthusiastic, reliable, and possess a strong work ethic. Must be available to work a minimum of 18-20 hours per week. Strong communication and organizational skills are required. Must meet acceptable standards for criminal background and credit history, and pass a pre-employment drug screen. Ability to meet insurance licensing eligibility to sell voluntary insurance products, pending a criminal background check by the state's department of insurance.
