Your Role We are looking for a dynamic industry leader to drive our initiatives with leading companies in Retail, Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG), and Travel. This executive position emphasizes promoting the adoption of Google Cloud's Data, AI, and agentic technologies to support our clients in redefining their business models. The ideal candidate will have robust industry credibility, a passion for technology, and a strategic vision for the future of consumer industries. Key Responsibilities Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement a comprehensive go-to-market strategy for Google Cloud within the Retail, CPG, and Travel sectors. Analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitive landscapes to position Google Cloud as the leading partner for digital transformations. Act as a senior advocate for customer needs, converting industry-specific challenges into actionable strategies for our product, engineering, and marketing teams. Business Transformation: Serve as a trusted advisor to C-level executives in strategic accounts, guiding their transformation journeys. Lead the development of innovative solutions that leverage Google Cloud's Data, AI, and agentic technology, focusing on areas such as demand forecasting, hyper-personalization, supply chain optimization, dynamic pricing, and revamped loyalty programs. Innovation in Data and AI: Drive the application of advanced technology to address core industry concerns. Promote the use of analytics and machine learning to integrate various data sources (e.g., POS, e-commerce, loyalty, supply chain) for a comprehensive customer view. Advocate for generative AI and intelligent agents to enhance conversational commerce, automate customer service, and provide real-time insights to store associates and travel agents. Ecosystem Engagement: Cultivate a robust ecosystem around Google Cloud for consumer sectors. Build relationships with key ISVs, system integrators, and data providers to ensure our clients access streamlined, end-to-end solutions. Thought Leadership: Represent Google Cloud in the industry to enhance our brand presence. Speak at major industry events, publish white papers, and engage with analysts and media. Work closely with sales and marketing teams to grow our customer base and establish Google Cloud as a leader in Data, AI, and agentic transformation in Retail, CPG, and Travel. Note: Travel may be required for this role, ranging from 0 to 100% based on business and client needs. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Computer Science, or a related field, with a minimum of 12 years of work experience. (If you have an Associate's Degree, at least 6 years of work experience is required.) At least 15 years of experience in a senior leadership role within Retail, CPG, or Travel industries, or as a consultant for these sectors. A minimum of 7 years of experience with a robust knowledge of the business processes, challenges, and technology in consumer-focused sectors. Proven track record (minimum of 7 years) in leading significant technology-driven business transformation initiatives. Bonus Points: Master's degree or MBA. Direct experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and deep understanding of its data, analytics, and AI/ML services. Success in deploying AI, machine learning, or advanced analytics solutions that produce measurable outcomes (e.g., increased sales, improved customer loyalty, enhanced operational efficiency). A strong network of executive contacts in the Retail, CPG, and Travel industries. Exceptional executive presence with outstanding communication and presentation skills, capable of serving as an influential industry leader. Accenture provides a competitive compensation range based on various factors, including office location and role responsibilities. The anticipated salary range for this position varies by location. For instance, in California, it is $163,000 to $369,800; and in New York, $150,900 to $369,800.
