Position Summary: We are seeking a dedicated Behavioral Safety Coordinator to lead our safety initiatives and compliance functions, ensuring that all safety issues are addressed and compliance with Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) standards is maintained. In this role, you will serve as a crucial liaison between manufacturing associates and management regarding safety matters while actively engaging the entire plant team to achieve safety goals and objectives. Responsibilities: Guide all aspects of the behavioral safety and BAPP processes with consistency and excellence. Manage data entry and retrieval using RINCON software to monitor observer progress and maintain contact rates. Facilitate Safety Committee meetings and BAPP steering projects. Log work requests into the EMPAC system and provide weekly updates on safety work orders. Present findings and data in various plant-wide and departmental meetings. Compile and prepare safety reports for monthly and quarterly submissions. Assist in accident investigations and participate in the analysis of incidents. Collaborate on the development and completion of Job Safety Analyses (JSAs) with the Training Coordinator and relevant managers. Conduct safety and observer training sessions for new hires and team members as needed. Engage in corporate or OSHA safety audits, aiding in the creation of action plans for enhanced results. Utilize proven behavioral analysis to train associates in identifying and mitigating at-risk behaviors. Adhere to established programs and policies to produce safe, quality food that complies with regulatory and company standards. Support the implementation and enhancement of SQF 2000 Systems. Be accountable to Kroger Manufacturing Food Safety and Quality Principles. This position requires the ability to perform essential functions with or without reasonable accommodation. Qualifications: Desired Previous Job Experience: Experience in a manufacturing environment, previous BAPP coaching, safety compliance experience, and participation in safety teams and projects. OSHA 30-hour training is a plus. Minimum Position Qualifications: Must be at least 18 years of age, possess a High School Diploma or GED equivalent, demonstrate proven leadership skills, and effectively communicate with all organization levels. Required skills include the ability to interpret safety documentation, strong attention to detail, excellent planning and organizational skills, basic computer proficiency, and the ability to travel independently. Compensation: $22.75 - $34.15 per hour
