Your Opportunity As a part of the renowned EBSCOlearning team, known for delivering top-notch training solutions in academic skill building, test preparation, and career development, the Content Editorial Intern will play a vital role in supporting editorial, product, and administrative tasks across various initiatives that prioritize content quality, modernization, and learner engagement. In this role, you'll have the chance to engage in multiple projects related to LearningExpress and Accel, gaining hands-on experience in educational content, marketing strategies, and platform enhancements that serve learners of all ages. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to real-world projects while sharpening your editorial, research, and collaborative skills within a dynamic product environment. This internship is remote and will require you to work during the hours of 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM EDT. As part of the EIS Summer Intern Program, you'll kick off with a structured orientation starting in June, alongside various enrichment and training events throughout the company. What You'll Do Assist with editorial tasks and content development workflows, including research, planning, copyediting, proofreading, revising, quality assurance, and maintaining content in our content management system (CMS). Support marketing and communications efforts by organizing assets and helping create promotional materials and sales enablement content. Contribute to content updates and modernization initiatives to improve usability, consistency, and accessibility across products. Engage in research and analysis related to product initiatives, market trends, competitor offerings, and best practices in educational content. Utilize Microsoft Outlook, SharePoint, Microsoft Teams, various AI tools, and other internal applications as needed. Collaborate with different teams and receive mentorship from seasoned editors and product professionals. Perform additional related tasks as needed based on the team's priorities. Your Team You'll be part of a temporary product and content team consisting of 11 members who value the work-life balance that remote work promotes. About You Currently pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in English, communications, writing, education, business, or a related field, with a graduation date of December 2026 or later. Possess strong written and verbal communication skills with excellent command of the English language and a meticulous attention to detail. Highly organized, capable of managing multiple tasks or projects simultaneously. Proficient in Microsoft Office tools (e.g., Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams). What Sets You Apart Interest in educational technology, instructional design, or digital learning. Prior editorial, writing, or content-related experience (academic, professional, or through extracurricular activities like student publications, blogs, or digital projects). Familiarity with the Chicago Manual of Style and MLA guidelines. Adaptable and eager to learn new tools or systems; curiosity about or basic understanding of AI tools is an advantage. Pay Range USD $20.00 - USD $26.00 /Hr. Your actual salary offer will depend on your skills, qualifications, education, training, and experience, along with the position's location.
