Job Summary The IT Asset Management (ITAM) Consultant works closely with clients to align their ITAM strategies with their overall business objectives. In this role, you will lead the integration of software and hardware environments, supporting an effective ITAM program that drives research and improves business outcomes. As a trusted partner, you will assess clients' ITAM programs, explore their business goals, and introduce best practices from ITAM, IT Service Management (ITSM), and IT Infrastructure Library (ITIL) frameworks. Key Responsibilities Facilitate engaging workshops to align clients' ITAM strategies with their business transformation goals. Develop innovative ITAM strategies that add real value to clients' endeavors. Conduct comprehensive maturity assessments and identify gaps in ITAM, ITSM, FinOps, and Cloud Governance. Create transformative roadmaps and business cases to enhance ITAM programs. Analyze client environments for lifecycle process gaps and improvement opportunities. Deliver compelling presentations to C-level executives, highlighting the value of ITAM. Contribute to SHI's ITAM Transformation Framework and best practices toolkits. Author educational materials to enhance customer understanding and engagement. Collaborate with internal teams to refine and augment SHI's ITAM service offerings. Support pre-sales efforts by effectively positioning ITAM transformation services. Maintain high-quality standards, ethical practices, and customer satisfaction in all engagements. Stay updated with ISO standards, ITIL, and new best practices in ITAM and transformation. Adaptability: Quick to adjust to evolving circumstances and demands seamlessly. Qualifications Minimum of 2 years' experience in an ITAM Governance Role. At least 2 years of ITAM Program design and implementation experience. 1-2 years of hands-on experience in IT Asset Management. Experience with vendor platform purchasing and deployment processes. Familiarity with IT ticketing software. A comprehensive understanding of the hardware and software lifecycle, from purchasing to decommissioning. The expected annual salary for this role ranges from $70,000 to $120,000. Actual compensation will be based on skills, experience, and location.
