Requisition ID: 43873BR Business Unit: FSU Job Description: We are on the lookout for a dedicated and experienced Project Controls Specialist to help us monitor and manage the costs, schedules, and scopes of intricate federal construction projects. The right candidate will ensure adherence to Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), Cost Accounting Standards (CAS), and contractual obligations, while also collaborating with project teams to achieve maximum cost efficiency, timely completion, and top-notch performance. This position serves as a pipeline for future opportunities. Key Responsibilities: Develop and maintain project budgets, forecasts, and cost control systems aligned with project and corporate standards. Prepare cost and schedule estimates, analyze data trends, and generate precise accruals, earned value, and variance reports. Establish project baselines for cost and schedule; identify deviations and propose corrective measures as needed. Facilitate the creation and ongoing management of the Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) while ensuring accurate reporting of progress. Conduct thorough risk analyses related to cost and schedule, pinpointing potential impacts to budget and performance metrics. Produce regular project performance reports that include KPIs, forecasts, and explanations of variances for internal and external stakeholders. Collaborate with project managers, estimators, and field teams to monitor progress, manage expenditures, and handle change orders. Ensure compliance with FAR, CAS, and relevant agency or contractual reporting requirements. Support audits, data validation, and documentation processes to ensure transparency and accuracy in reporting. Continuously assess and enhance project control processes to improve efficiency and precision. Other duties may be assigned as needed. Position Details: Employment Type: Temporary Location: United States - Nationwide, 100% fieldwork required. Amount of Travel Required: 100% travel is expected. Visa Sponsorship: This position does not offer visa sponsorship. Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree. 5 years of relevant experience. Equivalent directly related experience may be accepted in lieu of a college degree. U.S. citizenship is required, and the candidate must be able to pass a federal background investigation. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with large-scale federal construction quality programs. Compensation: Pay Range: $76,440 - $159,432 All bonuses are discretionary and may vary.
