Senior Principal Technical Product Manager - Compute

As a Senior Principal Product Manager in the OCI Compute team, you'll take charge of product initiatives within the Compute domain. Your responsibilities will include defining the product strategy that aligns with customer needs and driving innovation beyond industry standards. Collaborating with diverse stakeholders, you'll take products from inception to market, shaping our product portfolio and strategy. Responsibilities: Engage directly with key customers to comprehend their requirements and devise innovative solutions. Define the product vision and strategy for Compute shapes while formulating hardware roadmaps for the next 18 months and 3 years. Establish pricing structures for Compute hardware offerings and manage cost modeling scenarios. Lead the launch of new Compute hardware products, demonstrating expertise in end-to-end product management. Collaborate with the engineering team on product requirements and designs, translating business needs into technical specifications. Participate in go-to-market activities, including product positioning and collecting customer testimonials. Provide product demonstrations, training, and support for our customers. Conduct market research, analyze industry trends, and competitive landscapes. Drive initiatives to assess gaps and enhance product adoption. Create content that facilitates customer success. Define, measure, and oversee customer experience and business performance goals. Proactively identify and resolve risks that could jeopardize projects. Independently engage and influence executives and team leaders. Serve as a thought leader and spokesperson for OCI Compute products at industry events and customer engagements. Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience. 10+ years of hardware product management experience, ideally in a leading cloud provider. Demonstrated new product introduction experience with a track record of successful hardware launches. In-depth knowledge of hardware platforms, familiar with offerings from major vendors like AMD, Intel, Nvidia, and Ampere. Strong understanding of bill of materials and components including processor, memory, and SSD technologies. Familiarity with thermal and cooling systems, capable of discussing various industry methods. Customer-centric mindset with proven problem-solving skills in fast-paced environments. Technical proficiency with cloud infrastructure, adept at defining and synthesizing customer needs into features.
