Desired Previous Job Experience: Management experience Pharmacy experience Retail experience Minimum Qualifications: Must be a licensed pharmacist in good standing. Bachelor's degree in pharmacy or PharmD. Excellent written and oral communication skills. Strong planning and organizational skills. High attention to detail and accuracy. Valid driver's license. Essential Job Functions: Deliver outstanding customer service to make both internal and external customers feel welcomed and appreciated. Administer immunizations and complete clinical services as needed. Dispense medications according to prescriptions, adhering to laws, regulations, and ethical standards. Compound medications using standard formulas and processes. Review prescriptions for accuracy and required ingredients. Verify medications against patient profiles to avoid drug interactions. Oversee the work of pharmacy technicians and interns for accuracy. Ensure appropriate inventory levels and compliance with safety protocols. Report accidents and unsafe conditions to management promptly. Maintain schedule flexibility to cover shifts as needed. Exemplify teamwork and promote trust and respect within the pharmacy team. Adhere to all applicable laws, regulations, and company policies. Travel to other pharmacy locations as required.
