On Call Driver As the On Call Driver, you will transport the purchased, sold, or leased vehicles via enclosed or open trailers. Salary Overview: The pay rate for this role is $15 an hour. Hours: The hours for this role are on call. Driver Responsibilities Include: Select and connect the CVS truck and trailer appropriate for the individual job. Complete a pre-trip inspection of both the Truck and Trailer before driving to the location of pick up or delivery of a vehicle. Load or unload vehicles and return to CVS. Assure good operation of CVS truck and trailer equipment: DOT inspections, service, etc. Maintain an inspection log of the tow vehicle and trailer. Maintain your own time logs for work hours and driving hours. Adhere to Suburban Automotive Service's DRIVEN values and align business practices to support the SAS mission and vision. Driver Qualifications and Skills: Must meet company background check and drug screen requirements. Valid Driver's License with an adequate driving record. Driver Working Conditions and Physical Demands Include: 80% of the time, this job will be completed while sitting. On average, 30 minutes to load and unload vehicles.
