The schedule includes outpatient clinic coverage on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. Coverage includes clinic call as needed. This position is intended to cover a recruitment gap. The role involves caring for outpatient clinic patients, with an average of 15 to 20 patients per day. The EMR system used is Cerner. The practice setting includes support from Oncology RNs, Medical Assistants, a Social Worker, a Dietitian, and a Nurse Navigator. Onsite services feature an infusion center and onsite CBCs. Participation in tumor board meetings is required. Recruitment for a full-time physician is ongoing. The role is focused on providing high-quality outpatient care in hematology and oncology.
