Chief Financial Officer - New Haven, CT Salary: Up to $175K | Onsite, New Haven Why This Chief Financial Officer Position? • Mission-driven organization with over 150 years of service in the New Haven community • Opportunity to inspire change, support leadership, and strengthen a highly respected nonprofit • Excellent benefits: generous PTO, tuition reimbursement, low-cost health insurance • Strong 403(b) retirement plan with match • Collaborative, supportive culture focused on delivering high-quality care across multiple programs Key Responsibilities - Chief Financial Officer • Serve on the Executive Team; partner closely with the CEO, COO, and Controller • Communicate effectively with staff and volunteer board members • Oversee all financial operations across skilled nursing, residential care, adult day center, transportation, and assisted living • Lead accounting functions including purchasing, tax, long-range planning, real estate, AP/AR, payroll, resident trust work, and the general ledger • Monitor and analyze Medicare/Medicaid payor mix to maximize financial outcomes • Produce financial statements and provide guidance for budgeting and forecasting • Attend board meetings and sub-committee sessions; communicate financials clearly • Ensure compliance, documentation accuracy, and all filing deadlines are met Preferred Qualifications - Chief Financial Officer • Healthcare or Nonprofit experience or is required, ideally in nonprofit or hospital settings • Strong experience with Medicare/Medicaid and reimbursement structures • Nonprofit background and grant experience strongly preferred • Ability to support leadership initiatives and help strengthen the organization's revenue pipeline • Someone who can inspire change and adapt to evolving priorities #INMAR2026 #LI-OR1 #LI-Onsite EB-1689191182
