Registered Nurse, PACU

About this role Healthcare Staffing Professionals has an immediate need for a Registered Nurse to work in a medical center located in Torrance, CA. Candidates will need a minimum of one (1) year of adult and pediatric experience in a Level 1 Trauma Institution in a metropolitan city with a diverse population as a post-anesthesia Care Unit RN for providing total care to patients with various injuries, illnesses, disabilities, and post-surgical procedures such as OR, IR, Cath Lab, GI Lab, ECT, and Pain procedures. In post-op, RNs will care for semiconscious patients of all ages and acuity such as observing patients for side effects of anesthesia throughout sedation recovery from the operating room and procedural areas. RNs will care for boarding of inpatients needing Intesive Care Unit, Progressive Care Unit/Step Down Unit, Telemetry and Medical/Surgical levels of care. Pay Rate: $70/hr first 8hrs + $105/hr for the last 4hrs (12 hr shift)per diem Shift Detail: Shift Hour 12 Hours minimum of 2 shifts per week or as needed Evenings (11a-11p), weekends and holidays Location: Torrance, CA Requirements: active Registered Nurse license, AHA BLS/ACLS/PALS MAB or CPI LA City Fire and Life Safety card Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision Insurance Basic Life: $25,000 (100% employer paid) Basic Accidental Death and Dismemberment (AD&D) : $25,000 (100% employer paid) Voluntary Life/AD&D: Additional coverage options available for employees, spouses and children (100% employee paid) Company 401(k) plans with eligibility from the 1 st day of the month following hire.
