Key Responsibilities Design and implement scalable, secure software systems aligned with business objectives Lead technical architecture for complex features and epics with thorough documentation Collaborate with cross-functional teams and senior stakeholders Define and enforce best practices for design, development, testing, and Agile workflows Mentor engineers and foster a high-performing engineering culture Build relationships with business partners and influence strategic technical decisions Ensure reliable rollouts with appropriate monitoring, alerting, and failure domain understanding Evaluate industry trends and drive long-term innovation Required Qualifications Education: BS in Computer Science Experience: 15+ years software development, 12+ years Java/J2EE Technical Expertise: Java, J2EE stack AWS services (EC2, DynamoDB, S3, Route 53, CloudFormation, RDS, DocumentDB, SQS/SNS/SES, Lambda) Databases: MongoDB, ElasticSearch, MySQL CI/CD pipelines and distributed cloud-based systems Design patterns focused on performance, scalability, and resilience Agile/SCRUM methodologies Key Competencies Strong leadership and mentoring abilities Excellent communication skills with technical and non-technical audiences Proven track record delivering large, complex cross-functional projects Deep understanding of system architecture and interdependencies Customer-focused mindset with strategic thinking Ability to drive innovation and process improvement Salary: $170k - $205k + bonus
