As a Remote Travel Counselor, you'll be an integral member of our dedicated remote team, delivering exceptional travel services to our prestigious corporate client in the entertainment industry. Many leaders in our Traveler Care unit have advanced from the role of Travel Counselor, with paths extending to various departments within GBT! What You'll Do on a Typical Day Guide and coordinate travel for corporate clients, handling both individual and group arrangements. Show meticulous attention to detail and ensure accuracy in all travel plans. Research and analyze diverse travel options, anticipating traveler needs and proactively suggesting additional services. Arrange and book complex domestic and international business travel across air, road, rail, and accommodations. Utilize Sabre Global Distribution Systems (GDSs) effectively. Ensure compliance with client travel policies, service provider regulations, and legal requirements. Employ positive phone service techniques and effectively respond to special customer requests. Collaborate with your team to provide coaching, mentorship, and constructive feedback to enhance service quality. We will share more detailed job functions and performance expectations during the interview. What We're Looking For A passion for delivering outstanding client service, with a proactive approach to anticipating needs. Proficiency with Sabre GDS is essential. A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in Corporate Entertainment and Production Travel is required. Strong professional communication skills, both written and verbal. Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy. Integrity and responsibility in managing traveler information. A solid understanding of the travel industry, especially in business travel and entertainment travel, particularly for production. Ability to resolve customer issues swiftly and independently, collaborating with suppliers as needed. Team-oriented with a willingness to receive feedback for improvement. Please note that our Traveler Care unit operates 24/7. While we have colleagues dedicated to the night shift, flexibility for afternoon shifts (12pm-12am) is essential. Location United States The national base salary range for this position is between $39,200.00 and $72,800.00. Actual salary will vary based on factors such as role complexity and individual experience. This role is also eligible for a discretionary annual bonus based on personal and company performance.
