Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS required through American Heart Association, NIHSS. Must-Have: Must be comfortable floating to ICU, ER, MedSurg. Must be cross-trained for multiple units (MedSurg, ICU, ER). Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required. Basic Coronary Care within 6 months of hire. Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI) certification within 90 days of hire. Description: RN Days (7:00 AM - 7:30 PM). Evening and holiday rotations required, along with two on-call shifts per four weeks. Demonstrated ability to handle confidential information with discretion. Ability to deal with people in a professional and courteous manner. Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple priorities. Skilled in enhancing teamwork through effective role modeling. Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills required. Computer literacy is necessary. Demonstrates behaviors consistent with professional standards. Must provide care appropriate to the age of the patients served. Knowledge of the principles of growth and development across the lifespan is essential. Ability to assess data reflective of the patient's status is required. Skills in identifying and addressing patient requirements relative to age-specific needs are critical.
