Job Description Join us in a leading role where you will take charge of the research, design, implementation, and operational excellence of innovative cloud offerings focusing on virtual GPU (vGPU) and GPU slicing technologies. This is an exceptional opportunity to help craft a competitive GPU-powered media cloud solution from the ground up, expanding our capabilities in the media and entertainment sector. As a senior individual contributor, you will collaborate with engineering and product leaders to define and deliver a compelling technical vision, leveraging your extensive expertise in cloud services and GPU-accelerated workloads. You will be instrumental in mentoring engineers, independently driving complex projects, and sparking technical innovation within our organization. Key Responsibilities Research and implement cutting-edge vGPU and GPU virtualization technologies to support high-performance media workloads. Lead the architecture, design, and development of GPU-accelerated cloud services, including virtual workstations and rendering clusters. Ensure services are scalable, reliable, observable, performant, and secure, optimized for graphics and rendering tasks. Work collaboratively with distributed teams to deliver innovative cloud-native solutions for media production workflows. Champion operational excellence for GPU-powered services through performance monitoring, failure analysis, and workload optimization. Stay at the forefront of emerging GPU and virtualization technologies, actively shaping our strategic roadmap. Mentor engineering teams and cultivate best practices in GPU-aware service development and software engineering standards. Define and monitor OKRs/KPIs related to GPU utilization, performance efficiency, and service scalability. Qualifications Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field with over 10 years of software engineering experience in large-scale distributed systems or cloud services. Extensive experience in designing, implementing, and operating cloud services that leverage GPU acceleration (vGPU, GPU slicing, multi-instance GPU). Solid understanding of media production workflows including rendering, compositing, and digital asset management, along with the GPU demands of these processes. Strong foundation in high-performance computing, virtualization, and resource orchestration for GPU workloads. Proven leadership in developing services with elastic GPU resource scaling across geo-distributed data centers. Significant experience with software implementation, code/design review, performance tuning, and root cause analysis in GPU or HPC environments. Demonstrated cross-functional collaboration, mentoring, and driving technical innovation independently. Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to influence across distributed teams.
