Senior Analytical Chemist - Night Shift - Pilot Plant

Join our team as a Senior Analytical Chemist on the Night Shift in our Pilot Plant! We are seeking dedicated and talented individuals to work as full-time employees of Parexel FSP on a long-term assignment at our client's facility in Rahway, NJ. Position Overview The Senior Analytical Chemist is responsible for operating and maintaining a variety of analytical instruments, while also performing additional duties as assigned by our client. Key Responsibilities Conduct routine and real-time testing using techniques such as high-performance liquid chromatography (HPLC), gas chromatography (GC), ultraviolet (UV) spectroscopy, infrared (IR) spectroscopy, titrations, and Karl Fischer (KF) testing. Utilize HPLC and GC extensively, with a keen interest in method development, optimization, validation, data analysis, and sample preparation. Apply contemporary analytical techniques including HPLC, GC, KF, and UV-Vis spectroscopy in your daily work. Work effectively in a cGMP environment, adhering to GMP analytical activities, documentation procedures, and department SOPs; responsible for generating and second scientist reviewing GMP data. Leverage automated liquid handling systems (Tecan) for high throughput testing when applicable. Utilize various software platforms, such as Waters Empower and RLIMS, for data compilation, processing, and reporting. Qualifications BA/BS with 3-5 years of relevant experience in chemistry or a related discipline testing lab. MS with 1-2 years of relevant experience in chemistry or a related discipline testing lab. Desired Skills and Experience Strong organizational and multi-tasking abilities along with excellent oral and written communication skills. Ability to perform under pressure while delivering reliable results with quick turnarounds. Consistently produce high-quality and compliant results, engaging with a diverse customer base regularly. Proficiency in written and spoken English is required.
