Home Infusion Registered Nurse - PRN

We are actively seeking a dedicated infusion nurse (RN) with IVIg experience who is passionate about providing in-home infusions for patients in need. Infusion Details: Medication: Gammagard - Infuse 25 grams IV once daily for 5 days every 4 weeks Length of treatment: 2 Hours & 50 Minutes + Prep Time Location: Metairie, LA 70005 Date of Service: Patient is due 3/12-3/16 Access: PIV - Hard Stick Pump: Curlin Pump Preferences: The patient prefers to start treatment after 10 AM The patient is seeking an experienced, female RN Responsibilities of the PRN Home Infusion Registered Nurse: Administer immune globulin infusion therapies directly to patients in the comfort of their homes. Utilize your clinical IV expertise and compassionate approach to significantly impact patients' lives. Provide personalized, one-on-one nursing care visits that align with the physician's treatment plan, along with patient education. Excel in written and verbal communication to effectively interact with patients, physicians, pharmacists, and other members of the healthcare team. Requirements of the PRN Home Infusion Registered Nurse: Active and unencumbered nursing license valid in the state of practice Current BLS certification for Healthcare Providers (from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross) Previous experience with IVIg is required In-home infusion experience is generally preferred; exceptions may apply. A valid driver's license and proof of liability insurance are necessary, along with access to a vehicle for business travel. A clear background check is mandatory.
