Job Summary and Responsibilities The Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologist plays a pivotal role in conducting various imaging procedures as directed by a physician. This position is essential in maintaining a high standard of patient care within a sophisticated diagnostic environment. Key Responsibilities: Oversee daily operations within the MRI department. Support the MRI Supervisor in managing departmental activities while respecting budgetary guidelines, equipment functionality, staff requirements, and quality enhancements. Exhibit understanding of developmental stages throughout the life span and the capability to assess patient data based on age-specific needs. Provide compassionate, comprehensive care while honoring the dignity and rights of each patient. Qualifications: Education: Graduate of an accredited Radiology Technologist program. Certifications/Licenses: Current registration with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT). MRI registered or must obtain within 6 months of hire. American Heart BLS (Basic Life Support) certification. Experience: Preferred one year of professional experience.
