Indio, CA - Join Our Inpatient Psychiatry Advanced Provider Team As a Lead Advanced Provider, you will play an essential role in improving lives within Inpatient Psychiatry at Vituity. Your Role and Responsibilities Maintain open communication with the Medical Director and Site Management Team, along with Vituity clinical leadership. Become an active participant in the Site Management Team (SMT). Encourage Advanced Providers to attend department meetings to enhance site engagement. Promote community among site providers through regular communication. Relay important information from Vituity Advanced Provider leadership to the Medical Director and other team members. Assist in recruiting, interviewing, retention strategies, and fostering a positive workplace culture. Implement a tailored onboarding program for new hires to ensure a smooth transition. Ensure new Advanced Providers understand Vituity’s policies and clinical practices, addressing any gaps proactively. Provide constructive feedback for professional growth and assist with performance evaluations. Support the Medical Director in managing performance-related issues. Participate in case reviews and provide guidance to Advanced Providers. Coordinate clinical education for all Advanced Provider staff. Oversee the monthly work schedule and timecard management for Advanced Providers. Qualifications and Skills Graduation from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program is essential. Bachelor's Degree in Sciences, Healthcare, or a related field is required. Current state license and national certification in your specialty are required, along with any additional licenses for prescriptive authority. Experience in family practice, Ambulatory Care Centers, or emergency departments is preferred. Strong verbal and written communication abilities. Adaptability to the demands of an acute care environment. Ability to make critical decisions independently and with confidence. Demonstrated emotional stability and patience in dealing with patients and staff. Capacity to sustain focus and efficiency during long shifts and provide accurate documentation. Manual dexterity for clinical procedures and experience with electronic medical records. Ability to walk and stand for extended periods. Tolerance for high-stress situations typical of crisis environments. Willingness to work irregular hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
