Educate patients and their families on strategies to encourage progress beyond therapy sessions. Provide inpatient speech therapy evaluations and interventions when needed, maintaining continuity of care throughout the treatment process. Ensure accurate and timely documentation that aligns with all regulatory guidelines. Education Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution. Successful completion of a supervised Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) if not yet ASHA-certified. Certifications Possession of state licensure as a Speech Language Therapist. Preferred: Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification must be obtained within 30 days of employment.
