KPMG is looking for a Director of Compliance Governance and Monitoring to enhance our Legal, Regulatory & Compliance organization. Key Responsibilities: Drive the development and upkeep of comprehensive policies, procedures, controls, and standards to ensure effective compliance programs that align with regulatory expectations and industry best practices. Establish and maintain governance structures that facilitate the consistent implementation and oversight of compliance activities across various business sectors, including non-U.S. operations and subsidiaries. Monitor changes in legislation, regulations, and industry standards, ensuring that our ethics and compliance-related policies, training, processes, and controls are updated accordingly. Collaborate with various business functions to assess compliance program effectiveness and implement monitoring plans to uphold internal standards and external regulations. Engage in regular reviews of the ethics and compliance program to identify improvement areas and drive enhancements. Assist the Chief Ethics and Compliance Officer in reporting the effectiveness of KPMG's E&C program to management and the Board of Directors. Qualifications: At least ten years of recent experience in compliance, risk management, legal, or related fields, preferably within professional services or regulated industries. A Master’s degree, Juris Doctor, or other advanced degree from an accredited institution is preferred; a minimum of a Bachelor’s degree is required. Demonstrated experience in enterprise-wide compliance programs and governance frameworks. Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements, risk management principles, and compliance monitoring methodologies. Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills. A proven ability to synthesize complex information and deliver actionable insights to management. Authorized to work in the U.S. without the need for employment-based visa sponsorship.
