Deliver tailored speech therapy interventions that encompass communication, language skills, fluency, voice improvement, and swallowing techniques. Engage in collaborative efforts with physical therapists, occupational therapists, nurses, doctors, families, and caregivers to develop integrated care strategies. Educate patients and families on how to support ongoing progress beyond clinical settings. Support occasional inpatient speech therapy evaluations and treatment interventions to ensure seamless continuity of care. Maintain precise and timely documentation in adherence with all relevant state, federal, and organizational guidelines. Completion of a supervised Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) if certification from ASHA is still pending. Certifications Current state licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist. Preferred: Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification must be obtained within the first month of employment.
