Packing Specialist

Our client, a leading organization in the logistics and pharmaceutical support industry, is seeking a dedicated Packing Specialist to join their team. As a Packing Specialist, you will be an essential part of the operations team supporting efficient and accurate order fulfillment. The ideal candidate will demonstrate attention to detail, teamwork, and a strong work ethic, which will align successfully within the organization. Job Title: Packing SpecialistLocation: Charlestown, IN Pay Range: $17.31 Shift: 1st Shift - What's the Job? Pack, sort, and ship prescriptions directly to retail pharmacies and end-customers in a fast-paced semi-automated environment. Ensure 100% accuracy and efficiency while following Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and utilizing McKesson hardware and software. Read computer-generated screens to select correct items for packing or sorting. Maintain housekeeping standards and perform other duties as assigned. Participate in mandatory overtime based on business needs. What's Needed? High School Diploma or equivalent. Previous pharmacy or logistics experience is a plus. Ability to lift and carry objects weighing 20-30 lbs. short distances and 15 lbs. on extended basis. Ability to walk and stand throughout the entire shift. Basic math, reading, and writing skills.
