Gain expertise in the products we offer, enabling you to provide knowledgeable recommendations and answer customer questions. Respond promptly to spills and hazards, ensuring cleanliness by managing trash and maintaining assigned areas. Uphold the cleanliness of your department and other designated spaces. Exude a positive attitude that fosters a friendly atmosphere. Support safety initiatives by adhering to safety protocols and identifying any unsafe conditions to store management. Engage in preventive maintenance by regularly checking equipment and reporting any needed repairs to the appropriate department or store manager. Keep management informed of any customer or employee incidents. Report safety risks, illegal activities, including theft, and other concerning matters to management. Collaborate with team members to build a strong sense of teamwork. Comply with all applicable local, state, and federal regulations, and follow company policies and procedures. Perform essential job functions efficiently with or without reasonable accommodation. Qualifications: Minimum: Capability to handle high-pressure situations effectively. Strong communication skills. Desired: Basic understanding of electronics and electrical systems. HVAC certification. Electrical certification. Limited Maintenance Industrial certification. Previous retail experience. Proficiency in a second language (speaking, reading, and/or writing).
