THE OPPORTUNITY:Under the direction of the Screenprint Lead and Trainer, this position supports the Machine Operator by helping to prepare the machine for screenprint decoration, pulling garments to place on dryer, and necessary machine clean-up & prep for the next order. Each day is full of bright colors, fun products and new artwork for our fantastic customers from sea to shining sea, so you're not seeing the same order twice!Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7:30am-3:30pmWage: $16/hrA Typical Day (job functions) | Bring Art to Life on Garments through Screenprinting Job set-up & teardown at operational automatic screenprint pressesRemoval of and cleaning of screens, squeegees and flood barsReplacing machine with new screens and new ink for each orderReturn inks to their correct storage location, notifying in mixing of needed inksProvide and support machine operator as neededIdentify and clean all equipment after press useFollow safety practices; identify problems and work to resolve safety issues as they occur in accordance to OSHA standards Work actively with others to get the job doneOther responsibilities as directed (contributing to our core value of TEAM) Skills (qualifications) | Team Player + Reliable + Responsible + Eye for Detail High school education desirable, but not requiredPrevious production experience preferred, but not requiredAbility to work well in a team Must be reliable, responsible and take direction wellPerform repetitive tasks for several hoursStand 8-10 hours a day WHY LAKESHIRTS IS THE PLACE YOU WANT TO BE.
