The Cardiac Electrophysiology Technologist assists physicians in diagnosing and treating cardiac arrhythmias and peripheral vascular disease within the Cath/EP Lab. This role specializes in supporting procedures including electrophysiology studies, ablations, PTCA, stent placement, IABP placement, and EP device implantation. The technologist provides direct procedural support, ensures proper operation of specialized equipment, and delivers high-quality, patient-centered care in a fast-paced interventional environment. EMPLOYMENT DETAILS Permanent, Full-Time Department: Cardiac Electrophysiology / Cath Lab Shift: Days only Schedule: Four (4) ten-hour shifts per week On Call: None KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Assist physicians during electrophysiology procedures and cardiac interventions Support EP studies, ablations, device implants, PTCA, stent placement, and IABP procedures Operate and monitor EP and ablation equipment Provide patient care before, during, and after procedures Maintain sterile technique and procedural readiness Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and cath lab staff to ensure safe outcomes COMPENSATION Hourly Pay Range (Based on Experience): $24.90/hour (minimum) $29.50/hour (approximately 10+ years of experience) $33.59/hour (maximum | approximately 15+ years of experience) Sign-On Bonus: $15,000 Requirements Graduate of a CCAHEP-accredited cardiovascular or allied health program Minimum of two (2) years of electrophysiology experience with knowledge of EP and ablation devices required Acute care experience strongly preferred but not required Basic Life Support (BLS) required Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) required One of the following credentials required: Registered Cardiac Electrophysiology Specialist (RCES) Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) Cardiovascular Technologist (CV Tech) Registered Radiographer (ARRT) HEARTLINE STAFFING is a Strategic Talent Partner with PURPLE COW RECRUITING.
