What We Are Looking For: In the role of Auditing Supervisor, you will play a crucial part in addressing consulting and educational needs related to coding quality and compliance assessments. Your leadership will guide the Datavant External and Internal Auditing teams as you navigate trends, provide feedback, and coordinate resources to enhance coding quality. This remote position offers a flexible schedule, allowing you to help shape the future of healthcare from the comfort of your own workspace! Your Responsibilities Include: Acting as a liaison between front-line auditors and the Director of Auditing, and sometimes with clients, for all External Audit projects. Coordinating with front-line auditors and the Manager of Internal Auditing for all Internal Audit projects. Managing the operations of the Datavant External and Internal Auditing teams under the guidance of the Director of Auditing Services. Communicating the status of workload, workflow, and process effectiveness to management. Ensuring timely execution of external auditing reviews, including data loading, report creation, and submissions to clients. Overseeing the onboarding and SLA reviews internally. Collaborating with Lead Auditors to maintain staffing levels and client access. Assisting in crafting a weekly audit schedule and plans. Participating in the onboarding process for new auditors. Evaluating productivity at least monthly and providing constructive feedback, while implementing countermeasures as needed. Reviewing daily productivity reports to identify significant deviations and addressing them promptly. Managing team members' PTO requests to ensure operational continuity. Identifying and implementing improvement measures to enhance departmental operations and customer service. Serving as a resource for employees regarding questions and additional training. Conducting regular performance reviews as per Datavant policy. Ensuring timely submission and approval of timecards. Facilitating scheduled and ad-hoc meetings for coding operations and external clients in collaboration with management. Demonstrating customer-service excellence, professionalism, flexibility, dependability, and a strong commitment to learning and improvement. Exhibiting outstanding organizational and leadership skills. Adhering to the ethical standards set by the American Health Information Management Association or Academy of Professional Coders. Performing other related duties as assigned.
