Clinical Nurse

Responsibilities: We are seeking a dedicated Clinical Nurse to join our team, who, under the guidance of nursing leadership, will be accountable for planning, directing, implementing, coordinating, and evaluating exceptional nursing care in our unit during their shift. Receive comprehensive reports from the previous shift, ensuring all essential information regarding each resident is communicated effectively. Regularly assess the behavior, symptoms, reactions, and progress of residents, discussing observations with the Nurse Manager or Charge Nurse to ensure optimal care. Administer and accurately document all medications in accordance with established policies, physician's orders, and regulations set forth by the Department of Health. Perform all treatments as per physician's specific orders and comply with established protocols and procedures. Collaborate with the Nurse Manager or Charge Nurse regarding any necessary changes to medications or treatments, ensuring continuity of care. Order prescribed medications, promptly notify the pharmacy of any discontinued medications, and verify the accuracy of medications and dosages upon receipt from the pharmacy. Qualifications: Valid Registered Nurse License in New York State Education: Associate Degree required; BSN preferred
