Will greet patients, prepare them for their exam, and explain the procedures to be performed. Will position the patient appropriately for radiographs and use proper exposure factors to obtain high-quality images. Additional responsibilities include maintaining quality standards for mammography as required by the 1999 ACR Mammography QA/QC Manual and Hologic Selenia Dimensions QC Manual. Maintain continuing education requirements specified by MQSA, tracking patient information into the Radiology information system for documentation and billing purposes, and any other tasks that are necessary to maintain quality patient care.
