You Are We are in search of a seasoned and impactful leader to steer our strategy for clients operating in secure and demanding environments. This executive position emphasizes driving the adoption of Google Distributed Cloud (GDC) and other hybrid solutions for Public Sector, Defense, Intelligence, and Critical Infrastructure clients. The Work Your role encompasses unlocking the full potential of Google Cloud's Data, AI, and agentic technologies for sovereign, disconnected, and air-gapped edge environments. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in national security or highly regulated sectors, a deep understanding of sovereign cloud needs, and the technical authority to lead high-stakes engagements where trust, security, and mission success are critical. Key Responsibilities Strategic Market Leadership: Serve as the chief architect of Google Cloud's strategy focused on sovereign and securely connected government customers. You will articulate the vision for securing key workloads in defense and intelligence, representing these customers' unique requirements within Google. Business and Mission Development: Identify and secure large-scale, strategic opportunities within sensitive market segments by fostering deep relationships with senior leaders in government and military sectors. You will lead a cross-functional team to architect compelling solutions that utilize GDC for cloud-native capabilities in secure facilities. Solution and Capability Integration: Lead the customization of Google Cloud's advanced technologies for operational efficiency in air-gapped environments, ensuring solutions for on-premises analytics and deploying AI/ML models for critical tasks, engineered for security and resilience. Security, Accreditation, and Compliance: Champion security and compliance, formulating strategies to achieve and sustain high government accreditation levels for GDC offerings. Work closely with security assessors and agency leaders to ensure adherence to critical security standards. Ecosystem and Partner Alliance: Build and maintain a specialized ecosystem of partners that is vital for success in secure markets, including defense contractors and software vendors, to deliver comprehensive accredited solutions to government clients. Travel may be required for this role, potentially ranging from 0% to 100%, based on business needs. Here's what you need Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, National Security Studies or a related field, or equivalent work experience (minimum 12 years). At least 15 years of senior leadership experience within national security or defense sectors. A minimum of 7 years of expertise in government procurement and security processes, specifically for classified environments. Proven experience leading and securing large technology programs in the national security sector for at least 7 years. Active high-level government security clearance (e.g., TS/SCI) is highly preferred for certain engagements. Bonus points if you have A Master's or PhD in a relevant technical or policy field. Direct experience with hybrid cloud platforms and technologies for disconnected environments. Technical proficiency in cybersecurity, data fusion, AI/ML for intelligence, satellite communication, or autonomous systems. An extensive network of executive-level relationships within the defense and intelligence communities. Exceptional communication skills and executive presence to engage with senior military and civilian leaders. Compensation at Accenture varies based on factors such as location, role, and experience.
