Join our dynamic and innovative team where creativity meets technology. The Opportunity We are seeking a seasoned Privacy Program Manager to join our Data Privacy and Security Legal team. This role is pivotal in supporting our business through strategic counseling and the development of a robust data security and privacy program. Our aim is to ensure compliance with data protection laws in a balanced and pragmatic manner that promotes business growth while adhering to industry best practices. This position is based in Los Gatos, CA, and reports to the Sr. Manager, Privacy Program Management. The ideal candidate will be a trusted partner in driving excellence in our global privacy initiatives. Key Responsibilities Design and implement program management frameworks to monitor and enhance privacy compliance. Create scalable systems (metrics, dashboards, reporting) to track and communicate privacy goals and initiatives effectively to leadership and stakeholders. Conduct thorough analyses of business operations and legal workflows to identify gaps, risks, and opportunities for improving privacy practices. Develop practical privacy tools and resources for legal teams, including guidance, training, standard processes, and review/approval workflows. Establish strong, collaborative relationships with teams across Privacy/Security, Legal, and business units to facilitate the implementation and adoption of new processes and tools. Engage cross-functional partners to ensure alignment, participation, and the delivery of measurable improvements in privacy compliance. What We're Looking For 5+ years of experience as a Privacy Program Manager, with a proven track record in building and managing privacy programs and accountability frameworks. Experience in entertainment, online advertising, and/or tech is essential; in-house legal experience is a bonus. Strong knowledge of applied privacy laws. Ability to work well under pressure with diligence and minimal supervision, providing practical advice to stakeholders. Excellent judgment with strong communication skills. Solid project management abilities and an eye for detail. Comfortable using technology and eager to utilize AI tools to enhance workflows. Familiarity with content/workflow management systems and privacy tools (e.g., OneTrust) is advantageous. Intellectually curious, adaptable, and aligned with the Netflix culture. A bachelor’s degree is preferred but not required. A sense of humor is appreciated! Our compensation structure consists of an annual salary with flexibility in choosing between salary and stock options. For this role, the salary range is $210,000.00 - $330,000.00.
