Summary: As a Logistics Operations Manager, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing third-party logistics (3PL) operations within Meta's extensive warehouse network. This position is vital for fostering efficient communication between Meta and our 3PL partners, enabling streamlined operations. Key Responsibilities: 3PL Oversight and Compliance: Lead regular on-site audits of 3PL warehouse operations to maintain exceptional standards. Manage 3PL partners to ensure they consistently meet operational performance and adhere to Meta's high benchmarks. Process Improvement and Optimization: Initiate and spearhead projects focused on enhancing operations and process efficiency within the 3PL network. Develop and implement strategies to elevate operational efficiency, reduce costs, and improve service delivery. Collaboration and Strategy Implementation: Encourage collaboration with internal teams, including Infra and Site Services. Act as the operational liaison to align logistics activities with Meta's strategic goals. Performance Monitoring and Risk Management: Conduct in-depth analysis and reporting on key performance indicators for 3PL operations. Identify operational risks, resolve potential bottlenecks, and seek opportunities to optimize performance across the logistics network. Financial Management and Budget Compliance: Monitor and manage all warehouse-related expenses to achieve financial objectives. Ensure strict adherence to budgetary targets across all logistics operations. System Support and Integration: Serve as the logistics management systems expert, including WMS (Warehouse Management System) and TMS (Transportation Management System). Collaborate with technical teams to facilitate seamless system integration and ongoing process enhancements. Be prepared to travel (approximately 25%) to various warehouse locations for on-site management and auditing. Minimum Qualifications: 5+ years of experience managing 3PL operations, with a focus on process control and oversight. Demonstrated success in achieving high operational output and compliance in warehouse or distribution settings. Experience in performance analysis, reporting, and cost management. Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills for effective collaboration with teams. Public Compensation: The salary range for this role is $89,000/year to $135,000/year, plus bonus, equity, and benefits.
