Our mission is to empower surgeons and patients to achieve optimal results tailored to each unique eye. OVERVIEW: As a Customer Development Executive (CDE), you will play a pivotal role in driving growth in the Adjustable Lens Adoption (LAL) sector. Your responsibilities will encompass strategic account planning, facilitating onboarding with our Clinical Team Specialists (CTS), and conducting performance analysis across your designated territory. You will act as a business leader to align practice development efforts with measurable LAL adoption key performance indicators (KPIs). The CDE will engage with customers strategically, utilizing data-driven account planning and referral strategies. You will collaborate directly with CTSs to uncover opportunities for growth at the site level and engage in real-time performance analytics, adoption roadmap development, and site-specific business reviews. Key Responsibilities: Execute strategic initiatives, programs, and product introductions that drive LAL adoption and performance growth. Regularly analyze divisional performance to identify trends and potential areas for improvement. Lead strategic planning discussions with new customers, ensuring clear alignment on messaging and partnership expectations. Develop and implement effective account plans with actionable 30, 60, and 90-day strategies in collaboration with CTS partners. Maintain comprehensive CRM documentation that details premium cataract volumes, surgeon metrics, LAL penetration, and relevant KPIs. Drive regional engagement strategies to enhance patient referrals. Work collaboratively with CTSs on onboarding processes to ensure successful integration and rapid time to first implant. Conduct comprehensive business reviews to assess LAL adoption and refine strategies based on insights gathered before and after implementation. Team up with CTS and sales teams to identify challenges and recommend solutions focused on adoption. Required Skills and Experience: Strong clinical knowledge of ophthalmic practice workflows and patient optimization. Ability to interpret clinical and commercial performance data for informed decision-making. Experience in strategic customer planning and executing business plans. Familiarity with ophthalmic clinic operations and premium technology positioning. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Proven ability to manage multiple projects while achieving LAL growth targets. Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree in Business, Life Sciences, or a related field is preferred. 5+ years of experience in the ophthalmic, medical device, or healthcare consulting industries, ideally focusing on premium IOLs. Successful experience in customer onboarding or strategic account development is highly valued. Familiarity with CRM tools, patient flow design, and network development is an advantage. Compliance training related to insider trading, anti-bribery, and code of conduct is mandatory within the first 30 days of employment and annually thereafter. Certifications: Relevant certifications such as CCOA, COMT, or COA are highly desirable. Computer Skills: Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM tools.
