Registered Nurse - Postpartum Night Shift

Position Overview: As a Registered Nurse specializing in Postpartum care, you will provide compassionate, high-quality support to mothers and their newborns during a critical phase of their lives. Your role is essential in promoting both emotional and physical health for our patients. Key Responsibilities: Provide personalized obstetric, neonatal, and gynecologic nursing care. Thoroughly assess patient needs and establish individualized care plans. Educate patients and families on care processes, discharge planning, and post-discharge requirements. Administer medications and treatments following strict safety protocols. Continuously reassess and modify care plans based on patient responses. Maintain a clean, safe, and therapeutic environment for patients and their families. Collaborate effectively with healthcare teams to ensure the best patient outcomes. Qualifications: Current Tennessee RN License. Degree in Nursing from an accredited institution. BLS certification required within 90 days of hire. Preferred: At least one year of perinatal experience. NRP certification within six months of hire. ACLS certification or a commitment to obtain within six months of hire. Ability to maintain composure and efficiency in stressful situations. Physical Demands: Communicate clearly and effectively in English. Stand or work for up to twelve hours a day.
